Students observe, describe and interpret weather phenomena ate human and investigate human actions for dealing with the weather. These students identify short-term effects of weather. They measure temperature and the amount of snow and rain, and determine wind speeds and direction. They identify human actions that affect weather and climate, and the design of clothing as protection against the weather.
